Scaling by Sharing Our Research

Galvanize Action is all about radical collaboration: we share our work so that we can build the power of the whole field and expand our collective impact. That’s why all of our research, persuasion tips, and tested messages are available in the Art & Science of Persuasion Playbook.

Materials in the playbook are designed to be highly applicable to partners in the field, whether they work in a specific state or across the entire country. Those research-packed resources focus on Galvanize Action’s audience of moderate white women, since that is our area of expertise, but also include universal lessons to help connect with other audiences as well:

More than 45 partner organizations have applied our research to their work this year, and it’s only August! Take a look at how wide our reach can be when we all work together.

When we hear from partners, donors, and allies at our briefings, one of the most popular questions we get is “will you come to my state?”

  • Sometimes the answer is yes: this year, we are running ads to women in Arizona, Nebraska, Nevada, Maine, and Montana in addition to Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. With more funding, we may expand to even more states. 
  • Sometimes though, the answer is that it’s not strategic for Galvanize Action to directly run our ads in a certain location. But our partners still can! This year we made it easier than ever for partners to license our ads: they can run them under the Galvanize Action logo or under their own name.
