Emily Eaton (she/her) told her kindergarten class that she would run for president when she grew up. While her desire to be in the spotlight faded, her interest in civic engagement still holds strong. Emily is an experienced qualitative researcher with a deep passion for social and economic equity, and a drive to unearth the pathways that get us there. She engaged in research on a variety of topics, including U.S. immigration policies, military medical effectiveness, and the efficacy of corporate diversity programming before landing with Galvanize Action. Emily earned a Bachelor of Art in Global Studies, concentrating in political economies, and a minor in Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota, where she graduated with high honors, Phi Beta Kappa. Originally from Los Angeles, she has adopted New York City as her home and spends most of her free time exploring everything the Big Apple has to offer.
