Amy Bhatt (she/her) brings over two decades of experience as a writer, educator, and content creator to Galvanize Action’s development team. She was Associate Professor of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County before starting a writing and communications firm specializing in social and gender justice in Seattle. Prior to her academic career, she worked for diverse organizations such as Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the Institute for Policy Research, and the Museum of History and Industry. She received her B.A. in Political Science and Women’s Studies from Emory University and her Ph.D. in Feminist Studies from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.
